Car Battle Arena
This project was made by a team of 4 students. During my work for this project, I was assigned the tasks of making the car control more realistic, simulating the physics of a real car like drifting and swerving, I’ve added the weapons and made them functional, implementing the complete shooting mechanics, and I’ve also made the local two-player mode functional. Gameplay
This is a game for two players playing locally, each with their set of controls: one scheme is WASD for moving and Space for shooting and the other is Arrows for moving and RCtrl for shooting. There are 3 cars and 3 weapons you can choose from, each with different stats.
Cars
Truck: High armor, low speed, low handling;
Lambo: Low armor, high speed, average handling;
Beetle: Average armor, average speed, high handling.
Weapons
Machine gun: Bullets have high, but constant speed, low damage;
Raygun: Rays have low, constant speed, average damage, high attack range that extends gradually;
Rocket launcher: Rockets have low speed that increases gradually, slight recoil, high damage, applies thrust upon impact.
